The Exciting 60,000KM Journey On The Multistrada V4 Rally Has Concluded

The Multistrada 60,000km trip across Europe has successfully come to a close

The Multistrada 60,000km European Tour has successfully concluded, marking the completion of an extraordinary journey. Starting in France, the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally traversed eight European countries, ultimately reaching the Ducati headquarters in Borgo Panigale, Italy, led by a relay of passionate motorcyclists.

The tour featured 29 riders from across Europe, each chosen to represent their respective countries. These riders shared their experiences through stunning photos and videos, capturing the beauty of the landscapes and cities they passed through during their adventure. The participants were given the freedom to select their preferred routes from a variety of options.

Moreover, once they reached their destination, they would pass the bike to the next rider, creating a collaborative and community-driven journey that spanned multiple nations. The Multistrada V4 Rally’s journey began in Nice, France, where it embarked on a thrilling ride along the French Alps, demonstrating its remarkable versatility even on challenging roads.

The first major stop was Bordeaux, followed by Le Mans, where the riders were treated to the excitement of a MotoGP Grand Prix from the Ducati grandstand. The adventure continued through the historic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, leading into the picturesque mountains of Austria and the capital, Vienna.

The next phase of the journey also took the bike through the United Kingdom, exploring the rugged landscapes of Wales, Scotland and England, before reaching the iconic Silverstone circuit. From there, journalist Nye Davis took the Multistrada V4 Rally to the World Ducati Week in Misano, where the bike became the center of attention for three unforgettable days.

On top of that, the tour then ventured into Poland, where it explored Eastern Europe’s rural beauty, with stops in Warsaw and Krakow. Next, the riders crossed the Iberian Peninsula, passing through famed cities like Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Lisbon and Madrid.

The final leg of the journey led the Multistrada V4 Rally through Italy, with five riders taking turns on a scenic route along the Tyrrhenian Sea before arriving in Sicily. From there, they made their way back to Borgo Panigale, completing this epic journey at Ducati’s historic headquarters.

The Multistrada V4 Rally covered a total of 67,925 km, surpassing its original goal and even equaling one and a half times the Earth’s circumference. During its valve clearance check at 60,000 km, the bike showed no signs of wear, further proving the durability and reliability that Ducati’s globetrotter is known for.

Now, the bike that completed this unforgettable tour will be displayed at the entrance of the Ducati Museum starting 28 February, so be sure to check it out if this is up your alley.
