Pictures From The 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition

Here are some pictures from the on going Beijing Auto China 2026 show which started on the 24th of April 2026 and will run until the 3rd of May which means you can still get on a plane and be in Beijing after a 6 hour direct flight had more than enough surprises for us attending motoring media.

With the lifestyle or KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) or influencers attending, it is all about a provided script and how to ‘act’ as excited as possible to get their followers to be equally excited.

This years show covered about 70 percent more space than the previous edition in 2024, to accommodate a mind boggling 90 brands (automotive, after market, concept and project vehicles) displaying about 1400 vehicles. This auto show is easily twice the size of the now retired Frankfurt Motorshow which until Chinese auto dominance was the ‘must visit’ auto show. This Beijing show is also very much better laid out for visitors to make their rounds and easily, confirmed, there is no greater automotive show on earth right now.

There was 380,000 square meters of exhibition space, more than 1,000 exhibitors (engineering, technology and software industry related to motoring was also there) and to date more than 23,000 journalist attending.

We were invited by JETOUR Malaysia to attend and do the necessary coverage, and with a few hours of FREE time we ventured around some of the key areas to get these below pictures for you to get some idea fo what was new, exciting and shiny at this years biggest automotive show.

Meanwhile, JETOUR officially unveiled its “Travel+” strategy and showcased its new automotive brand,  SOUEAST which is an elegant looking family SUV with luxury cabin look and feel and spacious cabin.

At the JETOUR show stand, there was the JETOUR T1 i-DM, T2 i-DM, G700 , SOUEAST S08 DM, and several future concept vehicles being exhibited.

By the way, in case you were wondering, the European and Japanese auto brands at the show had little excitement when compared to what the large Chinese auto brands had to showcase.

Even the European and ASEAN media concentrated their time with Chinese auto brands like we did.
