The new Toyota C-HR+ is an EV with superb range, but is Europe-exclusive.
Toyota is set to launch the all-new C-HR+ battery electric vehicle in late 2025, expanding its electric SUV lineup across European markets.

This coupe-style crossover brings striking design, spacious interiors, and multiple powertrain options to the competitive C-SUV BEV segment.
Distinctive Design and Spacious Interior
The Toyota C-HR+ features sleek coupe lines while maintaining the practical aspects expected in its class. Built on Toyota’s dedicated e-TNGA battery electric vehicle platform, it sports a unique body and interior design that balances emotional appeal with functionality.

The vehicle’s front showcases exclusive bumper, grille, and headlight designs while maintaining Toyota’s contemporary BEV identity. Its wide stance evokes the dynamic driving characteristics associated with the C-HR brand. Sharp character lines at the rear blend smoothly into the front design, while the steep rear window angle and integrated spoiler enhance its dynamic appearance.

Despite its coupe-like profile, the C-HR+ doesn’t compromise on interior space. With an overall length of 4,520mm and a wheelbase of 2,750mm, it offers generous headroom and a 900mm front-rear couple distance. The cabin provides more space than typically expected in a C-segment SUV, with 416 liters of cargo capacity.
Powerful Performance Options
The C-HR+ will be available with two battery options to meet diverse customer needs:
- A 57.7 kWh (gross capacity) battery exclusive to front-wheel drive models
- A larger 77 kWh battery available for both front and all-wheel drive configurations
The all-wheel drive version delivers an impressive 343 DIN hp (252 kW), accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. Front-wheel drive models offer either 167 DIN hp (123 kW) with the smaller battery or 224 DIN hp (165 kW) with the larger battery option.

Maximum driving range reaches up to 600km (WLTP, pending homologation) depending on the grade and powertrain configuration. The vehicle includes a battery pre-conditioning feature to improve charging performance in various conditions, with an 11 kW onboard charger as standard and a 22 kW unit available on higher grades. DC fast charging can achieve speeds up to 150 kW.

Advanced Technology and Safety
All C-HR+ models come equipped with Toyota T-Mate features including Toyota Safety Sense active safety and driver assistance systems. Standard safety features include Blind Spot Monitor, Adaptive High-beam System headlights, and Parking Support Brake, with Park Assist and Panoramic View Monitor included in higher grades.

A 14-inch multimedia display comes standard across all models, featuring a navigation system with dedicated EV routing functionality that calculates routes with convenient charging options based on battery charge and available range.

The MyToyota app allows owners to monitor charging status, charging time, driving range, and usage data remotely.
The C-HR+ joins Toyota’s growing electric vehicle lineup alongside the all-new Urban Cruiser and bZ4X, providing options across B, C, and D-SUV BEV segments as part of Toyota’s multi-pathway strategy toward achieving carbon neutrality in Europe by 2035.
