This SUV is a smaller sibling to the Leopard 5 (which is known in China as ‘Fang Cheng Bao’ and it is a sub-brand of BYD) we first met in China and is targeted to arrive in Malaysia with a hybrid powertrain.
So, this BYD Leopard 3 is also known as the Fangchengbao Tai 3 is from BYD’s Formula Leopard sub-brand.
It features both two-wheel and four-wheel drive options, a range of 501 km, and supports features like an all-terrain recognition system, a smart driving-assistance system, and an optional onboard drone. The vehicle is currently available in China in LEFT HAND Drive only.
