Dongfeng Motor’s M-Hero brand recently disclosed the official registration details of its Mengshi M817 model. The vehicle will be offered with two battery options: 51.9 kWh and 62.52 kWh.
The larger-capacity battery variant delivers a WLTC all-electric range of 207 km and a combined CLTC range of up to 1,300 km. The M817 Ultimate version was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, featuring a refreshed design that continues the brand’s signature “Heroic Soul” aesthetic.

Equipped with Huawei’s latest Qiankun technologies, it includes dual-path, image-grade LiDAR and an intelligent driving perception system with road-surface recognition accuracy exceeding 95%. It also features Huawei Qiankun NCA Off-Road, enabling continuous navigation assistance from urban environments to off-road terrains.

Built on M-Hero’s next-generation intelligent off-road architecture, the M817 is equipped with the Panshi Chassis 2.0 and Jimeng Power 2.0 systems. Its all-terrain control algorithms are deeply integrated with Huawei’s Qiankun XMC digital chassis engine, enabling proactive terrain prediction.

The Jimeng Power 2.0 system boosts combined horsepower by 49% and torque by 30%, supports sustained operation at an average speed of 140 km/h without power loss, and features 6C ultra-fast charging technology.
The M-Hero M817 will officially open for pre-orders on May 29 in China, with the M817 Ultimate making its debut simultaneously.
