The first batch of CKD Xpeng G6 vehicle have just been delivered to Malaysian owners.
Bermaz Xpeng Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Bermaz Auto Berhad and the exclusive distributor of XPENG vehicles in Malaysia, has officially marked the start of customer handovers for its locally assembled (CKD) XPENG G6 electric SUV.
Held at the landmark Kuala Lumpur Tower, the exclusive group delivery ceremony brought together early adopters to receive the keys to their locally assembled vehicles. The event represents a strategic milestone for the marque, reinforcing XPENG’s localized manufacturing commitment, competitive ownership proposition, and expanding retail network across Malaysia.
Melaka-Built Efficiency and 800V Ultra-Fast Charging
The locally assembled XPENG G6 is produced in partnership with EP Manufacturing Berhad (EPMB) at its vehicle assembly facility in Melaka.
Transitioning to local assembly preserves the pure electric SUV’s core technological highlights:
- 800V High-Voltage Architecture: Delivers high thermal efficiency and rapid power replenishment, capable of achieving a 10% to 80% state-of-charge in just 12 minutes when plugged into compatible ultra-fast DC charging stations.

Nationwide Deliveries of the All-Electric XPENG New X9 MPV Underway
Alongside the G6 handover milestone, Bermaz Xpeng confirmed that nationwide customer deliveries have officially commenced for the XPENG New X9.
Positioned as a flagship, ultra-luxury pure electric multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), the New X9 is aimed at premium family transport and executive chauffeur fleets. The vehicle delivers active rear-wheel steering for agile maneuverability, advanced intelligent driver assistance, zero-gravity second-row seating comfort, and a highly configurable, spacious interior architecture.
