Honda Dreams Fund (HDF) roadshow coming to Jalan Tun Tan Siew Sin, Off Jalan Silang, KL on the 15th of March.

Honda Dreams Fund (HDF) is a scholarship that helps underprivileged youths turn their dreams into reality. HDF was launched in 2007 by Honda Malaysia to give back to the society in Malaysia in the area of human development. HDF is unique as its scholar selection prioritises the dream, the steadfastness of the candidate in believing and holding on to their dreams and the underprivileged background of candidate. Academic qualification is evaluated as a requirement necessary to achieve the dream. HDF provides full non-binding scholarships to underprivileged youths who are truly deserving, and the main criteria is their dream and the will to pursue their dream.
HDF is now in its fifth year and applications for year 2011 opened on January 5 and will close on March 31. The HDF team is on the lookout for the next 20 HDF scholars. Between January to March each year, when the scholarship is open for applications, the HDF team goes on road tours into the interiors and rural communities, going to the ground to inform more people about the scholarship. During these road tours, the team conducts video applications on the spot for those who attend the session (especially for those who are not proficient in penning down their dreams and thoughts in an essay format).
The HDF team has visited Sabah, Seremban & Malacca, Sarawak, Johor and Perlis before this. The next stop is the Central Region and the details are as below: Date Time Road Tour Venue 15 March 2011 (Tuesday) 4.00pm 11th Floor, Bangunan Cahaya Suria, Jalan Tun Tan Siew Sin, Off Jalan Silang, Kuala Lumpur.
This is the last road tour by HDF team before the submission of application closes on March 31, 2011. Through these road tours, we hope to reach out to more applicants who have very little opportunities otherwise. We hope that you can help us inform your readers about this road tour to create more awareness on this opportunity. For more information on the Honda Dreams Fund, please visit the website at www.honda.com.my/hdf.
