Aston Martin Rapide ‘S’ 2013 Model Is Released

This is the all-new Rapide S, replacing the outgoing Rapide in markets worldwide. This new Rapide S has been redesigned and re-engineered to attract customer and get them away from the competition. The ‘S’ comes from “Sport” and in order to prove this, the Aston Martin Rapide S is powered by a version of the new AM11 naturally-aspirated 6.0-litre V12 delivering 550 bhp and 600 Nm to 620 Nm at 5,000 rpm. With these numbers, the Rapide S is able to hit 100km/h in just 4.7 seconds, while the top speed is limited at 305 km/h.

The new engine has been lowered by 19 mm versus the position of the powerplant in the previous car and this means that the new Rapide S has a lower centre of gravity. The ADS (Adaptive Damping System) suspension offers three distinct settings: ‘Normal’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Track’. This 2013 Aston Martin Rapide S comes with a redesigned grille, a new rear decklid and a new Carbon Exterior Pack.

The new optional Carbon Exterior Pack, for instance, immediately dials up the Rapide’s sporting attitude. Front splitter, rear diffuser, mirror caps and rear lamp infills all fashioned from carbon fibre clearly signal the sporting nature of this 550 bhp four-seater. The interior remains almost the same, but Aston Martin offers a new piano black pack and a new Duotone perforated red and black leather. Pricing has yet to be announced! Check with Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur which is located along the busy Federal Highway for arrival dates and pricing.
