Volvo Car Malaysia announced further expansion into East Malaysia through its Sabah distributor Angkatan Hebat Sdn Bhd. To commemorate this, the all-new Volvo V40 was launched in Sandakan at the Angkatan Hebat Automart. Continuing the strong increase in Volvo Car Malaysia’s commitment to local consumers, Volvo models will now be available in Sandakan as well as Kota Kinabalu. This follows Clear Marque in Kuala Lumpur and Jayamas Premium Auto in Butterworth as the third new sales and servicing agreement that Volvo has signed in the past 12 months.

“Angkatan Hebat Automart will be the second centre that our consumers can purchase and service Volvos in the East Malaysian region” said Keith Schäfer, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia, during the launch.  “With the all-new Volvo V40 hitting the roads, we anticipate strong demand for the Volvo range and we will be looking to all our new partners to help play a significant role in achieving our target of selling 400 Volvo V40 models in the coming year.”

The first Volvo cars will be in the Angkatan Hebat Automart showroom by the 28th September, with service facilities through a dedicated Volvo service bay and service will be by appointment only during this early stages.

Volvo Car Malaysia is the wholesaler and importer of Volvo cars. It was incorporated in May 1999 and works in collaboration with Federal Auto Cars, Angkatan Hebat, Jayamas Premium Auto and Clear Marque.
