PROTON SUPRIMA S High Specification Launched
PROTON has introduced a new variant of the Proton Suprima S, giving customers an enhanced option for the sporty hatchback.
The Proton Suprima S Super Premium was launched by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, Dato’ Lukman Ibrahim at the PROTON Sales Carnival held at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC). Also present at the event were Chief Operating Officer (Commercial) of PROTON, Dato’ Hisham Othman, Chief Operating Officer of Project Management and Strategic Initiatives, Encik Abdul Rashid Musa, Chief Operating Officer of Manufacturing and Production, Encik Khairudin Dato’ Yusoff and PROTON’s senior management members.
The Proton Suprima S Super Premium is set to capture new customers interested in a sportier design of the model. The Proton Suprima S Super Premium is equipped with 17-inch lightweight rims, R3 body kit with a re-tuned rear bumper finishing, and front and side skirt, as well as the R3 Emblem on its side skirt.
Powered by PROTON’s 1.6L Turbo engine and mated with PROTON’s 7-speed ProTronic CVT, the Proton Suprima S delivers power and torque equivalent to a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine. The 1.6L power plant produces 140 PS at 5000rpm, and with a maximum torque of 205Nm from 2000 to 4000rpm. The Suprima S’ driving dynamics is enhanced with LOTUS Ride and Handling, giving the Suprima S an outstanding driving experience.
The Proton Suprima S Premium comes with full leather seats, reverse camera, Push Start Button, paddle shifts, and auto cruise, amongst many other features. The Proton Suprima S Super Premium is Suprima S’ highest-priced variant at RM 87,929.45.
The Proton Suprima S Super Premium is now officially open for booking. The Suprima S Super Premium has two colour options: Fire Red and Solid White. It also comes with a five-year or 150,000km manufacturing warranty (whichever comes first). For more information, customers are invited to visit any PROTON Showroom nationwide.
