Brabus G700 6X6 Details and Pics: Now Available in Malaysia

Remember the 6-wheeled monster truck that Top Gear took around the desert a few years ago? Well they’re finally here in Malaysia in right hand drive. That’s right, thanks to Naza-Brabus, 15 units of the huge Brabus G700 6X6 have been made especially for them and each one has got bespoke interior trims. We had the opportunity to check out one of the units that came finished in white and black both inside and out.

Being 2.2m tall, 6m long and 2.1m, you would expect it to weight a few tonnes and come equipped with enough seats to fit a large family. Unfortunately, while it does weigh nearly 4 tonnes,  there is only seating for 4. But those seats are extremely exquisite, with nearly every surface covered in Alcantara faux-suede or high-grade leather.

Even though it’s based on the aging G-Wagon, both Mercedes and Brabus have made the interior very modern. You get the full COMAND suite with a display and of course a 6-wheel drive system more sophisticated than many of those found on million-dollar SUVs.

That’s possible thanks to the insanely high price tag of nearly 3.3 million Ringgit (before import taxes!). But in a way you do get what you pay for. Not only will you be part of a VERY exclusive group of owners, but you get to choose from a range of interior colours, a wood-lined rear bed, a Brabus modified Mercedes 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with close to 1000 Nm of torque and 700 PS. And that’s just the beginning.

The wheels can be inflated or deflated from the cabin itself and there are 2 fuel tanks, just in case you like taking expensive vehicles into the wild for expeditions. For more, contact or visit NAZA World. Their showroom can be seen along Federal Highway, near the Jalan 222 exit.
