Have a Free Cup of Coffee on Petronas this CNY On Your Way Home

Petronas has launched its Coffee Break campaign in anticipation of the big ‘balik kampung’ rush this Chinese New Year. At 121 stations along highways, trunk roads and high traffic areas nationwide, 600,000 cups of freshly brewed hot coffee and snacks will be given out to motorists. This will happen on the 28th to 29th and then again between the 30th and 31st of January 2017 from 2pm onwards.

Already in its 18th year, this campaign will reinforce road safety messages through a collaboration with the Road Safety Department of Malaysia (JKJR). Motorists will find ‘Seven Road Safety Tips’ at Petronas stations to remind and educate road users to stay safe this upcoming holiday.

In addition, Petronas Dagangan Berhad is collaborating with partners to bring a more holistic road safety campaign to travellers when they drop by the participating stations. Safety-related services such as a 20-point safety inspection for Proton cars as well as health checks will be conducted for free.

The Petronas Coffee Break campaign is complemented by the company’s long-standing commitment as the fuel sponsor to 50 of St. John Ambulance of Malaysia’s emergency response vehicles. Other partners of Petronas in this campaign include Nestle Products, Munchworld Marketing, Suntory Beverages & Food Malaysia, and Mondelez Malaysia Sales.

The free coffee and snacks will be provided while stocks last. For more information, visit www.mymesra.com.my.
