The Chopard family has been the official sponsor and timekeeper of the legendary Mille Miglia race since 1988. The watches that comprise the Mille Miglia collection embody the passion and beauty of classic motorsports.
The watch collection is comprised of two sub lines. The Mille Miglia Classic line revives the vintage race cars that competed during 1927 to 1940. The second line is called the Mille Miglia Gran Tourismo XL and is inspired by more recent vehicles that incorporate modern technologies.
A special feature of all Mille Miglia watches is the continual development of their designs. Chopard has drawn inspiration throughout the years from the aesthetics of the exquisite race cars that compete annually in the Mille Miglia race.
The Mille Miglia line comprises the Mille Miglia Classic models picking up the aesthetic codes of the oldest cars having taken part in the race (1927-1940), and the Mille Miglia GTS watches reinterpreting the design features of the cars from the subsequent period (1941-1957).
