‘Hyundai Promise’ Used Car Programme Launched In Malaysia
Now you no longer have to deal with dishonest second hand car dealers
Nowadays, just about every car manufacturer operates their own used or pre-owned car programme, which is great news for customers who don’t intend to take on a long-term commitment for a brand new car.
Not only they are able to choose from a wide selection of used cars that have been carefully inspected, they also no longer have to deal with dishonest second hand car dealers.
Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has become the latest automaker to jump on the pre-owned car bandwagon with its own programmed called Hyundai Promise.
According to HSDM, all cars sold through the programme are major accident-free, and have gone through “stringent and rigorous” inspections by trained technicians to ensure that they are in tip-top condition.
All approved and certified used Hyundai vehicles also come with an extended warranty (between two to five years, depending on the age and mileage) and a 24-hour road assistance service.

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has launched its Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme (Hyundai Promise), an effortless and reliable way to trade-in and buy pre-owned Hyundai vehicles.
Pre-owned Hyundai models sold through Hyundai Promise come with genuine parts and the original engine. Stringent and rigorous inspections will be carried out by trained technicians to ensure that all vehicles are in optimal electrical and mechanical condition before they are approved and certified.
The vehicles are also major accident-free, so Hyundai customers can have peace of mind when purchasing these vehicles. All approved and certified vehicles come with an extended warranty of between two to five years depending on the age of the vehicle and the clocked-in mileage.
“Hyundai Promise is forward-looking, offering customers a full circle of sales services, from purchasing their first new Hyundai model to trading in their vehicles for a newer model, at attractive deals.

Mr Low added that Hyundai Promise is an important business segment that complements Hyundai’s existing business ecosystem. It also aims to regulate the resale value of Hyundai used cars in Malaysia.
All pre-owned cars are covered by manufacturer’s and dealer’s warranty as well as a 24-hour road assistance service. Interested parties can head over to the Hyundai Promise centre located at Lot 33, Temasya Industrial Park, Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
The centre is open from 9am to 5pm on weekdays, 9am to 12.30pm on Saturdays. The centre is closed on Sundays.
