New Ford 3S Centre In Penang To Cost RM16.6 Million
Ford is expanding their presence in Malaysia with a new 3S Centre in Penang.
With the launch of the all-new Ford Ranger, Ranger Raptor and Everest, Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) are introducing a new 3S centre for the brand in Penang. The new Ford 3S Centre spans 45,000 square feet, has 18 service bays, can display 6 vehicles and will cost RM16.6 million to construct. The Blue Oval’s new 3S centre is located along Jalan Baru in Seberang Prai and is estimated to be completed by the first quarter of 2024.
The groundbreaking ceremony was officiated by Turse Zuhair, Managing Director of SDAC, George Ngian, Head of Distribution Sales of SDAC and Peter Chan, Dealer Principal of SDAC Penang.
Turse Zuhair, Managing Director of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion, said, “This is indeed a significant milestone for us. As a 3S Centre offering end-to-end services, the facility will offer greater convenience and accessibility for Malaysians. Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the exclusive distributor for Ford in Malaysia, today broke ground for its new Ford 3S Centre in Penang. With an investment of RM16.6 million, the new Ford 3S Centre is set to elevate the customer experience and strengthen prospects for the brand in the Northern region.
Spanning across 45,000 square feet, the 3S Centre will be equipped with a total of 18 service bays and the capacity to display a total of 6 vehicles. Targeted for completion by the first quarter of 2024, the facility is located along Jalan Baru in Seberang Prai, providing ease of accessibility. Upon completion, customers will be able to experience state-of-the-art facilities at the new Ford 3S Centre, built from ground up in line with Ford’s global standards.
