BYD Launches The First Mall-Concept Showroom In East Malaysia
BYD launches this mall showroom in partnership with Sime Darby Motors
BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles (NEVs), together with Sime Darby Motors and local dealership, Regas EV Auto Sdn. Bhd., have officially launched their new mall-concept showroom in Kuching, Sarawak, earlier today.
The official launch ceremony was officiated by YB Dato Sri Professor Dr Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier and Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government of Sarawak, Mr. Eagle Zhao, Managing Director of BYD Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Calvin Sze Tho, Head of Sales Distribution, Sime Darby Beyond Auto and Mr. David Tay, Chairman of Regas EV Auto Sdn. Bhd.
Moreover, situated at City One Megamall in Kuching, the newly launched showroom is located on the ground floor of the shopping mall and offers shoppers a unique experience, catering to their needs through an immersive retail display and is equipped with two service bays.
Spanning 3,000 square feet, the showroom operates as a 1S centre showcasing the latest models in the market, ready for shoppers to conveniently experience BYD. To support customers with after-sales service and maintenance, the BYD service centre is conveniently located across the street along Jalan Tun Jugah.
Regas EV Auto Sdn. Bhd. is part of Regas Group of Companies which has been established for 42 years, catering multi brands from national to premium ranges. The newly opened mall-concept showroom in City One Megamall will be available for shoppers to visit daily from 10.00AM to 10.00PM.
On top of that, Mr. Eagle Zhao, Managing Director of BYD Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. says, “With the opening of this showroom here in Kuching, the first in East Malaysia, we get closer to achieving our goal to make our products and technology easily accessible to all.”
