Chinese car company GAC, which is represented locally by Warisan TC, has shown a new ERA concept car and it looks interesting to say the least. GAC seems to believe that the ERA concept car represents China’s “emergence as a leader in automotive innovation”. Interestingly, this is one of the rare hydrogen fuel cell concepts to come out of China, a country that seems to be firmly committed to battery electric vehicle tech. Built on GAC’s innovative multi-energy platform architecture, the ERA Concept car integrates hydrogen fuel cells and 200kw distributed motors on the rear axle. This powerful combination delivers an impressive 540 horsepower, an astonishing 800-kilometer range, and zero emissions. As a full-size 4WD crossover SUV, the ERA seamlessly blends luxury and performance, offering spacious interiors, maintaining a minimum ground clearance of 244mm for versatile maneuverability.

Aesthetic Marvel with Sustainable Features

The ERA Concept pioneers a convergence of technological ingenuity with industrial aesthetics. The front fascia seamlessly incorporates headlights, sensors, and cameras into a full-width light band, adorned with a sophisticated geometric pattern enhancing heat dissipation.

The body features clean lines and an aerodynamic kit made from marine recycled plastic and seaweed bio-based materials, showcasing GAC’s dedication to environmental sustainability.

Human-Centered Interior Design
