EON Smart Glenmarie First EV 3S Dealership Officially Open For Business

The very first EON smart dealership located at Glenmarie, Shah Alam, is ready to serve you

Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON), a leading multi-brand dealership in Malaysia, celebrated a significant milestone with the official opening of its smart 3S dealership, the EON smart Glenmarie, yesterday. With this opening, more smart customers all across Malaysia now have their one-stop shop for everything they may need related to their electric vehicle (EV).

The opening marks EON’s entry into the EV market, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility. The dealership was officially opened by Dato’ Jezilee Mohamad Ramli, Group Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services of DRB-HICOM. Also present at the ceremony were Mr Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET, and Akkbar Danial, Head of Automotive Distribution DRB-HICOM and CEO of EON.

Moreover, in his speech at the opening ceremony, Akkbar expressed EON‘s commitment towards delivering the smart, which was just launched by PRO-NET three days ago on 21 November 2023, to Malaysians. “We anticipate our smart 3S dealership will play a pivotal role in meeting the rising demand for smart #1 and making a significant impact on the local EV market.” he said.

EON, a wholly owned subsidiary of DRB-Hicom Berhad, invested almost RM4 million in EON smart Glenmarie, reflecting a commitment to providing premium EV services. This means customers of the brand can rest easy as they are all but assured of a smooth and quality experience.

On top of that, with an area of 4,362 square feet, the facility’s showroom also has three cars on display for your viewing pleasure and one unit for new car deliveries. The state-of-the-art facility includes a spacious and comfortable customer lounge equipped with a cafe area, discussion lounge, free Wi-Fi, and a dedicated kid’s room too.

The after-sales service area spans 3,716 square feet with four service bays, two of which are dedicated to service and repair, one for high voltage service, and the other for wheel alignment. It also features eight dedicated customer parking spaces, two AC Chargers maxed out at 22kW, and one DC Charger maxed out at 60kW.

EON smart Glenmarie showroom is open from Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Service hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
