Suzuki Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. has announced the highly-anticipated launch of the new Suzuki Gixxer 250 marking Suzuki Malaysia’s entry into the 250cc motorcycle segment in the Malaysian market. This launch promises to be a milestone for motorcycle enthusiasts across the nation.
The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is powered by a powerful 249cc SOHC single-cylinder engine, delivering an impressive 26.7hp and 22.2Nm of torque. One of the key features of the Gixxer is the compact single-cylinder engine, incorporating Suzuki’s innovative Oil Cooling System (SOCS).
Moreover, this design ensures high output, maximum durability, and ease of maintenance, all while delivering remarkable fuel efficiency. The engine of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 also has received recognition as a Malaysian Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), highlighting its fuel efficiency.
With a 12-liter fuel tank, this Suzuki motorcycle can travel up to 400km on a single tank. Additionally, a 6-speed transmission, agile handling, a low seat height of 795mm, and dual-channel ABS ensure an enjoyable and safe riding experience ensuring that riders will have a good time riding the bike while still being safe.
The Suzuki Gixxer 250 also adopts a more upright and naked design for those who prefer a different riding experience. In terms of design and styling department, the motorcycle showcases twin-outlet exhausts with chrome caps, brushed-finish alloy wheels, a rear tire hugger, and an easy-to-read digital console.
The Gixxer 250 also comes with a futuristic LED headlamp design, and features ten-spoke alloy wheels with colour-matched pinstriping. This blend of futuristic and also retro design makes for a more unique but also familiar silhouette that makes this bike instantly recognisable as a Suzuki.
On top off that, prepared for the Malaysian market as a Completely Knock-Down (CKD) unit, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 adheres to the brand’s highest quality standards and craftsmanship. This model is ideal for Malaysian B2 license holders looking to enter the world of performance motorcycling.
The Gixxer 250 is available in two captivating and striking colours and they are Metallic Met Stellar Blue and Metallic Matte Black No. 2. The Suzuki Gixxer 250 in its street-naked version will come with an attractive price tag of just RM14,500. This price excludes insurance, road tax and registration.
