Suzuki Malaysia Launches The New Suzuki Gixxer SF250 For RM15,500
Suzuki Malaysia makes a strong entrance to the 250cc segment with the Suzuki Gixxer SF250
Suzuki Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. have just launched the highly-anticipated Suzuki Gixxer SF250 in tandem with the Gixxer 250, thus marking its entry into the 250cc motorcycle segment in the Malaysian market in a very strong fashion. This milestone also promises a more fun filled future for motorcycle enthusiasts in the country.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF250 is powered by the same 249cc SOHC single-cylinder engine as the Gixxer 250, delivering the same 26.7hp and 22.2Nm of torque. One of the key features of the Gixxer is the compact single-cylinder engine, incorporating Suzuki’s innovative Oil Cooling System (SOCS).
Moreover, this design, once again, ensures high output, maximum durability, and ease of maintenance, all while delivering remarkable fuel efficiency. The Suzuki engine has also received the highest recognition as a Malaysian Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), highlighting its fuel efficiency and stunning power.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF250 also comes with a 12-liter fuel tank, allowing for a range of up to 400km on a single tank. Its 6-speed transmission, agile handling, a low seat height of 795mm, and dual-channel ABS also ensure an enjoyable and safe riding experience for maximum fun without neglecting safety in the slightest.
Differing from the Gixxer 250, the The Suzuki Gixxer SF250 boasts a full-faired sporty look, while both Gixxer models showcase twin-outlet exhausts with chrome caps, brushed-finish alloy wheels, a rear tire hugger, and an easy-to-read digital console as well as ten-spoke alloy wheels with colour-matched pinstriping.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF250 also features a full fairing that elegantly wraps around the chassis and a dynamic LED headlamp. This differentiation will come in critical for buyers when choosing between both the Gixxer models as the price of both models is so similar, the big difference lies in the owner’s preferred style.
On top of that, the Suzuki Gixxer SF250 adheres to the brand’s highest quality standards and craftsmanship and is prepared for the Malaysian market as a Completely Knock-Down (CKD) unit. This model is ideal for Malaysian B2 license holders looking to enter the world of performance motorcycling.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF250 will be available in some truly eye-catching colours such as the Metallic Sonic Silver or Metallic Triton Blue (exclusively for the GP Edition) and this variant is priced at a reasonable and affordable RM15,500. This price excludes insurance, road tax and registration.
