Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has officially launched the new and upgraded Mercedes-Benz GLA 200, representing the entry point into the brand’s successful SUV family. The sporty compact SUV showcases a range of enhancements seamlessly blending modern technology with everyday practicality.
Mercedes-Benz is upgrading the GLA compact SUV with numerous innovations and more extensive equipment. The new radiator grille with central Mercedes-Benz star, single louvre, and accents in black enhances the powerful character. In addition, the bonnet with discreetly suggested power domes underlines the self-confident appearance.
Moreover, the redesigned front bumper with visual underbody protection shows off the GLA 200 ’s off road genes. The rear bumper now also comes with a diffuser adding an element of sportiness to the exterior of the car while the front apron with simulated underbody in silver, reinforces the confident look of the car.
The 10.25-inch free-standing twin screen setup also offers a holistic high-tech experience and enhances the open-plan architecture of the new Mercedes-Benz GLA 200. The refreshed multifunction sports steering wheel which now includes new touch-control panels is also upholstered in leather for more comfort.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 is equipped with comfort seats and they are upholstered in ARTICO man-made leather in black. The Star Pattern trim elements within the cabin blends in harmoniously while also creating exciting contrasts.
On top of that, the new Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 also offers unmatched safety assistance with a Blind Spot Assist and Exit Warning Assist that keeps the driver alert while the Active Brake Assist can help to mitigate the chances of a collision with other road users and helps when reactions are slower.
This assistance system can also help to avoid collisions with moving or stationary vehicles in front of the car. The new Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 also comes with Parking Package with reverse camera and Mirror Package as well as the latest generation of MBUX system for greater convenience.
In combination with the three Navigation, Assistance and Services modes plus the 64 colour Ambient Lighting, there are also numerous individualisation options. All previous functions such as Media, Phone, Vehicle etc. are still available on the new Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 making it both new and familiar.
