Ora 07 Officially Lands In Malaysia From RM169,800
The GWM Ora 07 joins the Ora Good Cat in the brand’s Malaysian lineup
Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia has officially launched the Ora 07 electric vehicle (EV) sedan and announced the prices for its two variants, RM l69,800 for the Long Range Ultra and RM l89,800 for the Performance variant. The Long Range is Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) and makes 204PS of power and 340Nm of torque and is good for 640km of range (NEDC).
Meanwhile the Performance variant features All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with 408PS of power and 680Nm of torque allowing for 550 km of range (NEDC). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and has a battery capacity of 83.499 kWh, going from 30 to 80 percent in 32 minutes via DC fast charging, and boasts a drag coefficient of 0.22 Cd for enhanced performance.
Moreover, the GWM Ora 07 measures 4,871mm in length, 1,862mm in width, and 1,500mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,870mm and comes in three metallic colour options. The interior of the Long Range Ultra variant is black, upgradable to brown for RM 2,500, while the Performance variant exclusively features the brown interior.
The Performance variant also offers an additional driving mode, Sport+, enabled by an intelligent turbo. Design-wise, the GWM Ora 07 features a closed grille design, sophisticated LED headlights, hidden door handles, frameless doors and an electric rear spoiler. It also features a sunroof but that may only serve as a hindrance depending on road conditions.
Inside, premium leather covers the seats and steering wheel, with a T-shaped centre console featuring a rotating control panel. GWM prioritises user-centric design, offering features like 50w wireless charging, ergonomic seats with massage and air ventilation, and Beauty Lamps with LED lighting.
On top of that, safety is paramount in the GWM Ora 07, with a cage-style body structure made of high-strength materials, supplemented by L2 Intelligent Driving Assist features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Parking Distance Control.
An outstanding warranty package includes a 6-year or 150,000 km full vehicle warranty, an 8-year warranty covering power battery, electric motor, and electric motor control unit up to 180,000 km, and a 12-year car rust and corrosion warranty await anyone who buys the GWM Ora 07.
The first 500 customers will also receive a complimentary home wallbox charger and an additional 2-year warranty, while existing GWM owners enjoy an exclusive RM 3,000 Loyalty Offer.
