GWM Ora 07 Previewed In Malaysia Ahead Of Official Launch

Here’s what you need to know about the GWM Ora 07 and GWM for 2024

GWM Malaysia has previewed the new Ora 07, an electric vehicle (EV) that redefines mobility, at its Media Preview event on 4 March 2024, at The Raw Studio, Kota Damansara. The sleek sedan is the vanguard of the brand’s ambitious 2024 lineup heralding the subsequent releases of the GWM Haval H6 HEV in Q2 2024 and the GWM Tank 300 in Q3 2024.

The GWM Ora 07, a streamlined electric coupe, captivates with its dynamic and elegant form. Its design is a harmonious blend of retro and modern, boasting a closed grille and oval-shaped headlights that invoke a sense of nostalgia while firmly positioning the vehicle in the future.

Moreover, the GWM Ora 07’s silhouette, reminiscent of a fastback automobile, features hidden door handles, frameless doors, and an adaptive electric spoiler, asserting its sports car inspiration. Measuring 4,871 mm in length, 1,862 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height, the vehicle presents an imposing stance.

On the inside, everything one would expect is adorned with premium leather, a T-shaped hollow center console with rotating panels, and ergonomic seats with massage features for the driver and front passenger. The sporty tri-dashboard complements the multi-functional steering wheel, offering drivers unrivaled control.

The GWM Ora 07’s luxurious interior is completed by a dome-style panOramic sunroof and a smart air conditioning system that delivers a three-dimensional flow, ensuring comfort in every journey. The minimalistic design of the interior space creates a refined, luxurious, and sporty atmosphere that is nothing short of exquisite

Available in sophisticated grey, purple, and white, the GWM Ora 07 invites drivers to express their individuality. It comes in both Long-range and Performance variants, highlighting the superior performance and versatility and is powered by a state-of-the-art 83.499kwh ternary lithium battery.

On top of that, the Long Range variant boasts a range of 640km, delivering 150kW of power and 340Nm of torque. The Performance model ups the excitement with 300kW and 680Nm of torque, with a range of up to 550km.

Well, now all that’s left is the price, which we should be getting when the car officially launches in Malaysia soon. Until then, all we can do is hope that this Mydin Porsche Madani looking GWM Ora 07 (also known as the lightning cat in other markets) can generate enough interest to do better in terms of sales than the smaller ORA Good Cat.
