XPENG Reveal Its Q1 2024 Sales Results And It Looks Good For The Brand
The XPENG X9 also maintains its top spot as the best selling EV MPV in China
In a dynamic display of growth and market dominance, XPENG reported a staggering 99 percent increase in Smart electric vehicle (EV) deliveries in March 2024 compared to the previous month. This surge extends to a remarkable 29 percent increase year-on-year, establishing its position as a powerhouse in the EV industry.
A standout performer for the brand, the XPENG X9, retained its title as the leading all-electric MPV in China. With an impressive 3,946 units delivered in March alone and nearly 8,000 units delivered since launch, the X9 continues to captivate consumers with its blend of innovation and practicality.
Moreover, the momentum doesn’t stop there as XPENG delivered a total of 21,821 Smart EVs in the first quarter of 2024, marking a significant 20 percent increase from the previous year. This remarkable sales performance is the notable achievement of an 82 percent monthly active user penetration rate of XNGP, the brand’s ADAS system.
XPENG’s commitment to innovation and safety is evident in its relentless pursuit of enhancing user experience. The expansion of the XNGP nationwide routes, after rigorous safety testing by its teams, underscores the company’s dedication to providing cutting-edge technology while prioritising safety.
On top of that, XPENG also announced strategic partnerships with leading car dealer groups in Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia. This move sets the stage for the introduction of the right-hand drive G6 model, signalling the brand’s intent to expand its global footprint.
XPENG also recently unveiled two Smart EV models in Germany, namely the G9 SUV and the P7 sedan. These cars mark the Chinese brand’s official entry into the European market, laying the groundwork for its ambitious plans to penetrate key markets such as France, Italy, and the UK to follow after this as well..
