At the Malaysian Autoshow 2024, smart Malaysia proudly unveiled the new smart #3 SUV Coupe and began accepting bookings. This significant event, attended by key figures such as Azrul Reza Aziz, CEO of MARii, marks Malaysia as the first ASEAN country to offer customer bookings for the eagerly awaited smart #3.
Themed “Chase the Thrill,” the event aimed to generate excitement for this Premium Dynamic Urban Companion, which combines style, elegance, personality, and performance. Internationally acclaimed, the smart #3 has already won both the iF Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award, showcasing exceptional design and innovation by the Mercedes-Benz global design team.
Moreover, early customers who book will receive exclusive smart official merchandise worth up to RM1,500. This limited-time offer is reserved for the first 333 pre-booked customers, with a refundable RM1,000 booking fee. The smart #3 will be available in BRABUS, Premium, and Pro models, each tailored for the Malaysian market with unique features
Both the BRABUS and Premium versions boast a best-in-class 22kWh AC charger, capable of charging from 10 to 80 percent in under 3 hours. With cutting-edge safety technology, the smart #3 includes 23 high-precision sensors supporting 21 ADAS functions as standard, ensuring peace of mind on the road.
The smart #3 Premium also features a Panoramic Halo Roof, CyberSparksLED+ with adaptive high-beam assist, an Illuminated Front Grille, and a 66kWh NCM Battery, delivering a WLTP Range of 455km with a 200kW/343Nm single motor driving the rear wheels.
On top of that, for high-performance enthusiasts, the smart #3 BRABUS variant offers 0 to 100km/h acceleration in just 3.7 seconds, powered by a 315kW/543Nm Dual-Motor intelligent All-Wheel-Drive powertrain, ensuring exceptional handling and a WLTP Range of 415km.
Bookings for the smart #3 can be made at authorised smart dealerships or through the Hello smart App. Additionally, smart Malaysia announced a new, more affordable pricing structure for the smart #1 Premium and Pro models, reflecting their commitment to providing exceptional value.
This move aims to enhance the ownership experience and strengthen customer bonds within the smart community. Existing smart #1 Premium and Pro owners will also receive a complimentary 4-year service package, underscoring smart Malaysia’s dedication to outstanding customer service and support.
The new on-the-road prices (without insurance) for the smart #1 Premium and Pro, inclusive of Sales and Service Tax, are:
- smart #1 Premium: RM209,000
- smart #1 Pro: RM169,000
