The JAC T9 is the only EV pickup truck in Malaysia with a 5 star Australian NCAP rating
Evolvelectric Motors Sdn Bhd has officially launched the JAC T9 lifestyle pickup truck lineup in Malaysia yesterday at 1 Utama and this all-electric pickup truck makes a strong case for itself. With bold styling, a luxurious interior, modern technology and the best safety features anyone needs, the JAC T9 is a truly revolutionary vehicle.
At the heart of the JAC T9 electric vehicle (EV) is an 88kWh battery from CATL powering a dual-motor setup making 220kW and 516Nm of torque on to a top speed of 140km/h and can fast charge from 15 to 80 percent in just 45 minutes. It also stands out as the only pickup truck in Malaysia with a 5-star Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) safety rating.
Moreover, the JAC T9 also sports a high-tech, luxurious cabin complete with a 64-color ambient lighting system with 3 modes, a 10.4-inch central infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360° camera, a 7-inch digital driver display and Level 2 ADAS features along with black quilted leather and 5 striking exterior colours to choose from.

On top of that, to celebrate the T9’s launch, Evolvelectric Motors is offering an introductory price of just RM119,888 in Peninsula Malaysia, (on-the-road without insurance) until the end of the year. It also comes with an 8-year or unlimited mileage engine warranty for added peace of mind.
Evolvelectric Motors is also hosting a Test Drive Contest until 31 May 2025. One can join by either test-driving the JAC T9 at a roadshow location or booking a test drive through the company’s Facebook page and the winner will receive a 4D3N stay in Perth, round-trip airfare for a family of four, a JAC T9 rental car and accommodation at a selected hotel.
