McLaren Singapore is truly having fun with their victory with this celebratory model
When it comes to a win, there is no shortage of celebration here in Asia. We can celebrate almost anything. McLaren Singapore is no different. Having won the Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship for the ninth time, the brand decided to go big with its celebrations by presenting the exclusive MCL38 Celebration Edition Artura Livery at ION Orchard, from 7 to 11 March.
To add to the exclusivity of the car, only one McLaren Artura Spider MCL38 Celebration Edition is available in Singapore, and it is being offered exclusively by McLaren Singapore. To commemorate this monumental achievement, McLaren will release a very limited number of MCL38 Celebration Edition supercars as well.
Moreover, just 18 McLaren customers will have the chance to own one of these exclusive models, with only nine Artura MCL38 Celebration Editions and nine 750S models available for sale. The number of units produced lines up with McLaren’s ninth Constructors’ Championship win in Formula 1.
McLaren secured the 2024 Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, having maintained the lead since the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in September. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri played a crucial role, securing a combined eight pole positions and six Grand Prix victories with the MCL38.
This victory also marks McLaren’s first Constructors’ Championship win since 1998, making the celebrations that much more meaningful. The MCL38 Celebration Edition cars pay tribute to the 2024 World Championship-winning MCL38 Formula 1 car.
On top of that, both the Artura and 750S models feature a custom livery created by McLaren Special Operations, incorporating the iconic Papaya Orange and Anthracite color scheme that is synonymous with the McLaren brand in motorsport.
Some unique features of the Artura MCL38 Celebration Edition include a custom-painted livery, a visual carbon fibre extended sill cover, signed by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, a dedication plaque with MCL38 Formula 1 bodywork, a champions’ laurel on the headrest and a Papaya 12 o’clock steering wheel marker.
Meanwhile, the McLaren 750S MCL38 Celebration Edition also sports custom-painted livery, a visual carbon fibre extended sill cover, signed by both drivers, a dedication plaque with MCL38 Formula 1 bodywork, a champions’ laurel on the headrest along with papaya accents on the steering wheel and mirror stripe and a papaya stripe on the front splitter.
