POWERMAN Malaysia 2025 by OMODA | JAECOO Marks 20th Anniversary in Putrajaya
POWERMAN Malaysia, the world’s biggest duathlon, returns in 2025 for its landmark 20th anniversary edition with OMODA | JAECOO as the presenting partner. For those unaware, Jaecoo was rebranded OMODA | JAECOO during the Malaysia Autoshow 2025.
Set to take place from 20 to 22 June 2025 at Dataran Putrajaya, this iconic run-bike-run event is expected to be its most thrilling edition yet, drawing over 4,500 participants from 30 countries.
Celebrated for its high-octane competition and global appeal, POWERMAN Malaysia 2025 by OMODA | JAECOO will transform Malaysia’s administrative capital into a 3-day sporting arena. Athletes will take on various duathlon formats, including the Classic distance (10km run, 60km bike, 10km run) with more than 1,000 participants, and the Short distance (5km run, 30km bike, 5km run) attracting over 3,000 competitors. The event will also feature three POWERKIDS categories tailored for young athletes aged 6 to 15.
Race Director Jeffrey Ross emphasised the significance of this year’s edition, calling it the “biggest and boldest race to date,” reflecting two decades of resilience, performance, and community spirit. He also highlighted the strong partnership with OMODA | JAECOO, which aligns with the values of endurance and innovation central to the event.
