MG4 electric car arrived in Malaysia with a price from RM104k to RM159k
SAIC Motor Malaysia introduced the MG4 to our shores just 16 months ago and now the selling price has moved downwards to below the asking price of the BYD Atto 2 which was launched just weeks ago.
Landing in Malaysia with 4 variants, this particular all-electric mid-sized hatchback looks to not only target BYD’s Atto2, but also the Dongfeng BOX and the soon to launch Proton e:MAS 5 compact electric family car.
Now, this electric hatchback comes in at 4,287 mm long, 1,836 mm wide, 1,504 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,705 mm which means there is enough space inside for 5 adults and their luggage.
Included with the MG4 EV’s price tag is a 7-year/150,000 km mileage vehicle warranty, in addition to an 8-year/180,000 km battery warranty. Said battery is also treated to a one-to-one exchange should its state of health dip below 70% during the battery’s warranty coverage period.
