Nissan Thailand Begins Production of the All-New Kicks e-POWER

Following its recent public debut at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show, Nissan aims to begin deliveries to customers across Thailand in May 2026.

Innovative e-POWER Drivetrain and Performance

The 2026 Kicks facelift continues to utilize the P15-generation platform, now featuring styling inspired by international markets. At its core is the e-POWER system, which provides an authentic electric vehicle driving experience without the need for external charging.

  • Electric Motor Output: The EM47 motor delivers a responsive 136 PS and 280 Nm of torque.
  • Generator Engine: A 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine (HR12DE) acts solely as a generator to charge the 2.06 kWh lithium-ion battery. This is the same powertrain in the current Nissan Kicks e-POWER
  • Acceleration: The system propels the crossover from 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds.

Advanced Safety and ProPILOT Technology

A significant addition to the 2026 model is the introduction of ProPILOT to the Thai market, Nissan’s advanced driver assistance suite that includes intelligent cruise control and lane-keeping assist.

The vehicle is further equipped with a comprehensive safety array, featuring:

  • Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB).
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Departure Prevention.
  • Intelligent Trace Control and Vehicle Dynamic Control for enhanced handling.

Premium Interior and Connectivity

The cabin has been modernized to meet the needs of the “intelligent mobility” era. Drivers are greeted by a seven-inch digital instrument cluster and a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The Nissan Connect system provides full support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by a wireless device charger and six-speaker audio.

The interior offers 423 litres of luggage capacity and a 60:40 split-folding rear seat for versatile storage. Premium touches include leather upholstery available in black or an optional blue-and-white theme, applied across the dashboard and centre console.

Pricing and Local Availability

In Thailand, the 2026 Kicks e-POWER is offered in three distinct variants:
