Proton e.MAS is ready to serve all its customers in Damansara now
Edaran Otomobil Nasional (EON) Berhad, a prominent name in Malaysia’s automotive industry, has officially soft launched its new Proton e.MAS showroom in Damansara. This marks a significant step in expanding its footprint for Malaysia’s first national electric vehicle, the Proton e.MAS.
Located strategically along the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), the new outlet is co-located with the existing Proton EON Damansara 3S Centre, offering customers both convenience and accessibility. This Damansara showroom follows the launch of the first Proton e.MAS outlet at EON’s headquarters in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
Moreover, like its predecessor, the new location is purpose-built to provide an immersive electric vehicle (EV) experience. It features personalised consultations, aftersales services, and a lifestyle-oriented customer approach tailored specifically for EV buyers.
EON Chief Executive Officer, Akkbar Danial, emphasised the importance of this launch, stating, “This is more than just another showroom. With the increasing demand for EVs, our presence in Damansara signals a new chapter for EON and for Proton e.MAS. It allows us to serve our customers better with convenient access, prompt vehicle delivery, and a fully personalised sales journey.”
To commemorate the soft launch held on 7 July 2025, EON is also introducing special promotions for early customers. Until 18 July 2025, customers who book the Proton e.MAS 7 at the new Damansara showroom will benefit from low-interest financing, starting at just 1.68% per annum.
On top of that, in partnership with the Zurich Liga 7×7 All Stars 2025 football tournament, the first seven customers to place bookings will receive premium pitch-side tickets worth RM399 each for the showcase match on 19 July 2025.
The Zurich Liga 7×7 All Stars 2025 promises to be a major attraction, combining sports, music, food and entertainment at Stadium Bola Sepak Kuala Lumpur on 18 and 19 July. Football legends like John Terry, Dimitar Berbatov, Ryan Giggs, and Malaysia’s own Safee Sali will headline the event, which is expected to draw over 15,000 attendees.
As the official mobility partner, EON will provide shuttle services using the Proton e.MAS 7 and SUVs for event players and VIPs. “EON is proud to support this event. It reflects our commitment to customer engagement and wider EV adoption,” added Akkbar.
