Maserati delivered more than 40 Levante SUVs in Malaysia

In the past 12 months (2019) Naza Italia, the brand guardian for Maserati in Malaysia has seen an upswing in demand for their luxury performance SUV, the Levante.

Maserati in Malaysia has had an increase share in the performance luxury SUV segment which clearly illustrates that Maserati is maintaining the momentum that has produced a transformation in the brand over the past few years.

The 2019 Maserati Levante include changes to the exterior that make the GranSport and GranLusso more distinctive sporty and luxurious respectively; new interior trim and finishes to augment exclusivity; the new gearshifter enhances the driving experience; particulate filters for the Twin Turbo V6 engines to boost environmental performance and the ADAS driving assistance technology has been upgraded to include pedestrian recognition.

Both the Maserati Ghibli sports sedan and the Quattroporte luxury executive sedan benefitted from a strong new bumper, front valance and grille design that is more overtly performance orientated for the GranSport variant, while inside both are now available with the new Pieno Fiore natural leather upholstery, new trims and, in the case of the Quattroporte, two new wheel designs. Both models also feature the new gearshifter.

There are no changes to Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio which while being the epitome of Maserati values in terms of sports cars, are only available for a select few clients looking for the ultimate Maserati experience.

These changes to the Maserati range for 2019 represent a smooth evolution of the Maserati range in Malaysia that is a response to both changes to the market as a whole and a response to the specific requirements of Maserati owners which would be expected with so many of them enjoying the Maserati ownership experience for the first time. The biggest change to the brand of course has been the arrival of the special edition Levante Volcano in March 2019 at a selling of just RM838,000 with full taxes and delivery which has been selling as fast as they enter the showroom.

The Levante SUV has brought more than 40 orders to Naza Italia and this is double the Ghibli sales for Naza Italia in 2019.

If all continues, 2020 will see Naza Italia selling even more Levante SUV’s and also the Ghilbi sports sedan. The current 2019 Ghibli starting selling price is RM618,800.00 (inclusive of local taxes and duties) for the standard model, whilst the Ghibli GranSport and GrandLusso are priced at RM668,800.00. The Ghibli S is priced at RM718,800 and the Ghibi S GranSport and GranLusso at RM768,800.00.

All models include 5 years Standard Warranty coverage with no mileage restriction plus a Free maintenance program of 5 years/ 100,000 km whichever comes first (Inclusive of Maserati Premium Service Plus of 3 Years /60,000KM).
