Alpina B4 Gran Coupe Now Sold In Japan
Only 4 Alpina B4 Gran Coupe cars are available though
So the Alpina B4 Coupe is finally making its way to Japan however most of the people who want the car will not be able to get one even if they have the money for it as the car will only be sold in Japan in extremely limited numbers. This is sad news for many BMW and Alpina fans in the country.
Earlier this year, Alpina has already delivered its new B4 Gran Coupe, known unofficially as the BMW M4 Gran Coupe but the model has only just been announced for Japan so on top of the longer wait, many Japanese customers will have to put up with not being able to get the car despite having the means and capacity to buy one.
Moreover, the Alpina importer in Japan, Nicole Automobiles only commissioned four bespoke examples of the Alpina B4 Gran Coupe for the Japanese market and each of these units is specced with a specific set of 20-spoke wheels. This is a typical feature of the now BMW owned Alpina brand.
On top of that, the Alpina B4 Gran Coupe is commissioned in two colours for the Japanese market, which are Fire Orange and Frozen Black Metallic and the bespoke rims complement both colors very well. The classic blue brake calipers are also found on this car and enhance the look further.
Naturally, there will be two units of each color of the Alpina B4 Gran Coupe and as for the Fire Orange units, one will come with a set of gold Alpina classic multi-spoke wheels while the steering wheel will be on the left hand side of the vehicle and the other unit will be equipped with a set of black rims and is a right-hand drive model.
Additionally, the more subtle Frozen Black Metallic Alpina B4 Gran Coupe also comes in a similar setup but forgoes the black classic wheel version in favor of an anthracite set. All models also share black Merino leather upholstery, velour floor and trunk mats, an alcantara-lined steering wheel, black wood trim, and more.
All models of the Alpina B4 Gran Coupe are also powered by the same high-powered 3 litre inline six engine that makes 495hp and 729Nm of torque which is sent directly to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. This pushes the car to 100km/h in roughly 3.7 seconds from a standstill and a top speed of 301km/h.
These Alpina B4 Gran Coupe models are on display in various BMW and Alpina dealerships in Japan and to keep things as fair as possible, the 4 lucky winners to own these cars will be selected through a lottery.
