Modenas Ninja 250 ABS And Z250 ABS Are 5-Star Bikes
The two Modenas bikes got a MyMAP 5-star rating from MIROS
The Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) have just awarded a 5 star rating under the Malaysian Motorcycle Assessment Program (MyMAP) to two Modenas motorcycles, the Ninja 250 ABS and Z250AB following the completion of the assessment and audit processes of both models on 25 October 2022.
This took place at the Modenas complex in Gurun and the audit results covered the fitment and testing processes and showed that both these motorcycles achieved excellent safety performance in all of the MyMAP main criteria assessments and detailed results can be found on the MyMAP Malaysia Official website linked here.
Both of these popular Modenas bikes are in the 250cc category and scored equally high according to the scoring scheme set by MyMAP due to the similarity the models share in their specifications and features, Among these similarities is the strict compliance with the UN regulations these bikes follow.
Moreover, both these Modenas models are also equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with dual channel ABS. This system is able to provide maximum safety to motorcyclists when braking, especially in emergency situations and on slippery roads and surfaces.
Furthermore, on top of all the required safety fitments to enhance the safety of the bikes Modenas also offers a support program to customers and this is why these bikes are so popular here and all across the world since the brand does not lose sight of their customers’ safety while still building a bike with great performance.
On top of that, Modenas has shown that the brand is committed to producing the most high quality, safe and performance oriented motorcycles since Modenas participated in the MyMAP star rating program voluntarily. More importantly, this kind of participation also encourages other motorcycle brands to produce safer motorcycles.
This is very important in promoting better safety features in new motorcycles to incorporate more active safety technologies to reduce the risk of motorcycle crashes on the road. In line with this, MIROS will continue to work with all motorcycle companies to create a road environment for motorcyclists in Malaysia.
Additionally, it is good to see Modenas take road safety seriously, especially since we are almost at the end of the year and many people travelling during the holidays will definitely lead to more road accidents if we are all not careful. Kudos to Modenas for looking out for Malaysian motorcyclists.
