Hyundai Ioniq 6 Debuts In North America With Estimated 547KM Range

Will this be the same version of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 we get here in Malaysia?

The all-new stylish and practical Hyundai Ioniq 6 was inspired by the brand’s Prophecy EV concept and has now made its debut in North America at 2022 AutoMobility Los Angeles and this electrified four-door streamliner will apparently come with 340 miles (547Km) of electric driving range.

Moreover, Jose Munoz, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor North America, stated, “IONIQ 6 is well-positioned to compete in the EV segment for the millions of shoppers who are interested in transitioning to zero emissions transportation. IONIQ 6 fits the image, efficiency and sportiness that many owners desire. IONIQ 6 and its interior space, battery options, charging speed and all-wheel drive capability will exceed customer expectations.”

SangYup Lee, executive vice president and head of Hyundai Design Center, stated, “We want our cars to always connect with customers on an emotional level.”

“Depending on the owner’s lifestyle, the way of using a vehicle will be different, resulting in a different look – much like chess pieces on a board, each one with a distinct look and functionality, but part of the same family. Hyundai designs with diverse lifestyles in mind rather than with a one-style-fits-all approach.” He added.
