Modenas Updates Its Kriss 110 and Kriss DB Motorcycles For 2023
These new Modenas Kriss models now also feature new disc brakes
2023 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the entire automotive industry, we have had multiple new car releases and major updates over the past few months as well, now we get to see one of Malaysia’s favourite motorcycles, the Modenas Kriss 110 and Kriss DB enjoy the same treatment.
Motosikal & Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd, otherwise known as, Modenas, a subsidiary of DRB-HICOM, has remained one of the most active and engaging motorcycle brands in Malaysia for many reasons but perhaps the most important of them is the fact that the brand makes some really good products.
Modenas also periodically upgrades and updates its offerings from time to time and today, the brand has announced its latest upgrades for the 2023 model year of its Kriss 110 and Kriss 110 Disc Brake (DB) variants, which now feature new colours, a new look and, of course, new prices.
These popular Modenas mopeds have received several new features including a newly designed headlamp as well as a built-in USB charging port for more convenient riding. Both variants also now feature new updated colours and graphics schemes namely, blue, black and yellow for the Kriss 110 and blue, black and red for the Kriss DB.
Moreover, all these new features in the Modenas Kriss 110 and DB models are still very affordable and reasonably priced, with the Kriss 110 model coming with a recommended selling price (without insurance or roadtax) of RM3,917 and RM4,437 for the Modenas Kriss DB model.
Both Modenas Kriss models feature a single-cylinder EEV, 4 stroke, SOHC, 108cc engine that produces 4.9 kW (6.57 hp) maximum power and 6.7 Nm of maximum torque. The model comes in two different colours and prices, both of which will be available at all Modenas Dealer showrooms by this week.
Being Malaysian favourites, the Modenas Kriss 110 and Kriss DB are being upgraded and still being rather affordable despite almost all other new cars going up (rather exponentially) means that the mopeds are sure to be a success and honestly prove to be a huge bargain for most Malaysian motorists.
