Sime Darby delivers 1,000 Units of the BYD Atto 3 in 100 days
Sime Darby Motors has just broken another record by delivering 1,000 BYD Atto 3 SUVs in just 100 days. The historical moment was celebrated, along with the first 1,000 BYD owners in Malaysia, at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium carpark. This follows the brand’s delivery of 100 units within the first 10 days of launching.
BYD knows how to celebrate too as customers from all over Malaysia also attended this event, which featured fun-filled exclusive activities for the brand’s owners. A live band and energetic performances kept the new car owners entertained, while lucky customers also took home exciting prizes as part of a lucky draw.
Moreover, Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Retail and Distribution of Sime Darby Motors Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macau, said, “This celebration marks a milestone in Malaysia’s electric vehicle (EV) market, setting a precedent that reflects the increasing popularity and acceptance of EV in the country.”
“We are pleased to sustain the momentum of our BYD ATTO 3 deliveries to customers and today’s occasion is a celebration for all the new car owners. We look forward to continue driving EV demand across our market segments.” He added.
In addition to achieving this milestone success, BYD has also recently opened its latest showroom at Gurney Plaza, Penang and this state-of-the-art showroom offers a comfortable and inviting 1,500 square feet of space for customers to relax and interact with BYD’s professionally trained and knowledgeable staff.
On top of that, BYD customers will also be able to learn more about the advanced technology offered by the brand at this new showroom and also take the opportunity to test drive the BYD Atto 3 during their visit to the showroom. The brand is clearly prioritising convenience for its customers.
To further prove this, located only 6km away is the BYD aftersales service centre in Sungai Pinang. The service centre which sits on 20,000 square feet, provides vehicle maintenance, wear and tear repairs, as well as body and paint services, which create a seamless and convenient facility to cater to BYD customers’ aftersales needs.
The BYD Atto 3 can travel up to 480km on a single charge and is available in two variants, priced from RM149,800 for the Standard Range model and RM167,800 for the Extended Range model. It also offers a choice of five vibrant colours to choose from, namely Surf Blue, Parkour Red, Boulder Grey, Forest Green and Ski White.
