Hertz Malaysia Lets You Rent A BYD Atto 3 SUV For Just RM150 Per Day
Renting an EV has never been more affordable than with Hertz Malaysia
We all know that electric vehicles (EVs) have recently gained popularity here in Malaysia and while most EVs are typically not the most affordable, some of them can be more viable for those of us without big bank accounts. Still, renting an EV can prove to be a bit expensive, well, Hertz Malaysia is about to change that.
Malaysian car rental service, Hertz, has recently expanded its EV lineup in Malaysia by adding the BYD Atto 3 to its fleet and to celebrate, the brand is allowing its customers to rent the popular EV with a sizable discount. Specifically, you can rent the BYD Atto 3 from just RM150 per day.
Moreover, the standard daily rental rate is RM480 which is indicative of a 60 percent discount. For the sake of comparison, it currently costs about RM179 per day to rent an EV through the GoEV app and while the difference may seem negligible, the latter app only offers older EVs at this price so it is a substantial upgrade.
As part of the experience, customers will also be provided with a ChargEV card that will allow them to recharge the battery of the BYD Atto 3 as well as unlimited mileage. However, it needs to be noted that the car can only be rented through certain Hertz branches, specifically in Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor Bharu.
These Hertz locations include Soho Suite KLCC, SkyPark Subang, KLIA, KLIA2, Georgetown, and Persada Johor International Convention Centre.
On top of that, this special price is also only applicable to bookings made through Hertz Malaysia’s website and the promo code “EVATTO3” while the offer will last until the end of this year only, so while one need not rush to enjoy this deal, it is definitely not going to last very long.
With more than 1,000 units already being booked last month, the BYD Atto 3 is currently the most popular EV in Malaysia. Given the huge discounts that Hertz Malaysia is offering at the moment, there is no better time than now to experience this 400KM EV so if you have ever been curious about this car, don’t wait any longer.
Hertz is represented by Sime Darby Motors both in Malaysia and Singapore, and first established its EV fleet in Malaysia last year by acquiring 15 units of the Hyundai Kona Electric e-Lite.
