Honda WR-V Finds 2200 Malaysian Customers In First Month
2,200 units of the Honda WR-V were sold in its first month of sales in Malaysia.
Honda Malaysia launched the all-new Honda WR-V in Malaysia in July 2023. Already, the compact crossover has found over 2,200 customers. In early August, the company held a small ceremony celebrating customer number 1 of the new WR-V. Ms. Nurain Binti Mohamad was the first customer to register her booking for the all-new Honda WR-V. When she took delivery of her unit at Accord Auto Sdn. Bhd. and the management team decided to commemorate the occasion with a little ceremony and some gifts.
Ms. Nurain walked away with RM5,000 worth of Honda Official Merchandise, Honda Accessories and an Ultra Glass Body Coating package for her new Honda too.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura said, “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our customers for their trust in the Honda brand and support for the All-New WR-V, which is a brand-new model in the Non-National Small SUV segment. Since its launch, the model has been well accepted in the market and achieved remarkable sales performance. The RS variant is the largest contributor, accounting for 60% of the total sales to-date. We are also delighted to share that the All-New WR-V is the second best-selling model in our Honda line-up for the month of July 2023.”
