Chery Malaysia Opens The First And Largest 4S Showroom In The East Coast

Chery Malaysia Officially celebrates the grand opening of its first and largest flagship 4S showroom in Kuantan, Evenergy Auto Sdn Bhd. The ceremony was graced by the presence of YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Wan Rosdy Bin Wan Ismail, Menteri Besar of Pahang, Mr. Leo Chen, Executive Vice President of Chery Malaysia, and YB Lee Chean Chung, Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya, along with other prominent figures from the industry partners as well as from the automaker.
Some highlights of the new 4s Flagship Chery showroom include a set of comprehensive facilities. Evenergy Auto Sdn Bhd is now the largest flagship dealership in the East Coast, covering sales, service, and body and paint facilities.
Moreover, this strategically located Chery showroom caters to the vibrant populations of Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan, collectively serving nearly 5 million Malaysians. It also offers an exclusive preview of the brand’s first and newest electric vehicle (EV), the Omoda E5.
Mr. Lee Chean Seng, Director of EVenergy, expressed his honour that this showroom is the first showroom from the brand to present the Omoda E5. This showcase also underscores Evenergy’s commitment to offering cutting-edge automotive solutions to its customers.
This Chery showroom opening is also set to accelerate EV Adoption in Pahang. In his opening speech, YAB Dato’ Sri Wan Rosdy stated, “The target set by the Kuantan Municipal Council to install 160 charging stations by the year 2025 will further accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles among the people of Pahang.” This reflects a forward-looking commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly transportation.
On top of that, Mr. Lee Wen Hsiang, Vice President of Chery Malaysia, said, “Following the recent visit Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. Chairman, Mr. Yin Tong Yue, to Minister Tengku Zafrul of MITI, over Chery’s commitment to invest over RM1 billion Ringgit in Malaysia, and this investment aligns with the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (#NIMP2030), specifically focusing on promoting locally manufactured electric vehicles (EVs).”
