The 2026 Nissan X-Trail update represents the latest evolution of one of the world’s most recognized electrified family SUVs. This model year refresh focuses on enhancing the vehicle’s “rugged capability” while introducing smarter, connected technology designed for the modern family explorer.

The updated 2026 model adopts a more prominent visual identity. The front fascia now features a wider, cleaner V-Motion grille, giving the SUV a more modern expression of Nissan’s design DNA. Nissan has significantly upgraded its camera and safety systems for 2026. The 3D 8-point Around View Monitor now includes an “Invisible Hood View,” which uses predictive processing to show the placement of front wheels as if the bonnet were transparent—ideal for avoiding rocks or curbs.
