Theottle Brings The Perodua C2 Concept To Life

The KLIMS 2026, the Perodua booth was centred around an amorphous concept car called the Perodua C2 Concept. Malaysian render wizard Theo Chin brings it to life in his latest post.

At the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) 2026, Perodua had one of the largest booths by far. At that booth, the primary showcase was the C2, which looked like an early stage concept render that was made physical. From the presentation video, it looked like Perodua had intended to include butterfly doors, a yoke-style steering wheel and swivelling seats, but the actual physical representation shown only featured some lighting elements and very little else that functioned.

Noted automotive enthusiast and render artist Theo Chin was spotted staring at the Perodua C2 Concept and recording its presentation video for some time. He obviously went back and did some homework because what we have now is the Perodua ‘Situ’ by Theottle, which is a more ‘fleshed out’ video render of the concept vehicle that was shown at KLIMS.

From his behind-the-scenes video on Youtube, you can see that the base silhouette of the vehicle render is the BMW 2 Series while the details come from a BYD of some kind. The headlight unit looks like the BYD Seal 6’s at first glance, but it’s not a perfect match. Regardless of what donor car it’s from, the look works. The resulting Perodua Situ by Theo looks like a viable electric Bezza.

While Perodua hasn’t confirmed that this is the intention of the C2 Concept, the Bezza is indeed due a refresh as it has been around since 2016, a whole decade ago and has only received a facelift in 2020 which is still on sale today. An electric Bezza would also line up nicely with Perodua’s plans to expand the QV-E, chassis to more bodystyles. Given the popularity of the Bezza for ride sharing use, an affordable electric sedan would be the perfect product. It’s also worth noting that this segment is currently under-populated with just the GAC Aion ES there to fill the gap. The BYD Seal 6 is a little on the pricier side.
