The newly-launched Range Rover Sport SV is making waves as the most powerful and dynamic Range Rover Sport ever produced. This exceptional vehicle seamlessly combines outstanding performance and dynamism with the unmatched capability, refinement, and reductive design that the Range Rover brand is renowned for. With its array of cutting-edge technologies, including an advanced suspension system and a sensory audio system with wellness benefits, the Range Rover Sport SV sets a new benchmark in the luxury performance segment.
The New Range Rover Sport SV exudes a sporting attitude, enhanced dynamic ability, and an assertive presence that takes it to the next level. The vehicle’s exclusive airflow-enhanced design showcases a more grounded and assertive aesthetic, complemented by lightweight and technical material choices that reinforce its high-performance capabilities.
Under the hood, the New Range Rover Sport SV is powered exclusively by a formidable 4.4-liter Twin-Turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine, delivering an impressive 635PS and 750Nm of torque. This represents a significant increase of 60PS and 50Nm compared to the previous generation Range Rover Sport SVR. With such power at its disposal, the New Range Rover Sport SV can accelerate from 0-60mph in a mere 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 180mph. Furthermore, the vehicle’s CO2 emissions are 15 percent lower than its predecessor, showcasing its commitment to improved efficiency and sustainability.
The outstanding performance of the New Range Rover Sport SV is made possible by a host of features that reduce weight by up to 76kg. These include the world’s first 23-inch Carbon Fibre Wheel option, Carbon Ceramic Brakes (a first for Range Rover), and aerodynamic enhancements such as a carbon fibre bonnet.
Embodying Range Rover’s modern luxury philosophy, the New Range Rover Sport SV is initially reserved for select clients globally. The invitation-only SV EDITION ONE specification represents the pinnacle of luxury, featuring exclusive branding and curated combinations of features, colors, and finishes. Each Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE is already allocated to a discerning Range Rover client.
The New Range Rover Sport SV boasts revolutionary dynamics, thanks to its sophisticated 6D Dynamics suspension system. This groundbreaking system combines hydraulic interlinked dampers, height-adjustable air springs, and pitch control to deliver exceptional performance and handling. By eliminating the need for conventional anti-roll bars, this semi-active system significantly reduces pitch and roll, ensuring a near-level body stance during extreme cornering and acceleration. In addition to improved handling, the system reduces weight, increases grip, and enhances comfort and refinement.
Complementing the advanced suspension system, the New Range Rover Sport SV features specially developed chassis components, including a new rear subframe, revised suspension links, and an electronically power-assisted steering rack with the fastest ratio ever used in a Range Rover. To maximize its on-road dynamic capability, the New Range Rover Sport SV is equipped with a high-performance braking system, including the option for Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB). For the first time on a production vehicle, the New Range Rover Sport SV offers the option of ultra-lightweight 23-inch Carbon Fibre Wheels. These innovative wheels save nearly 9kg per corner, resulting in improved performance, handling, and ride quality.
