SoloEra is here and will begin CKD operations from June 2025
Malaysia’s EV bike landscape is set to expand with the exciting debut of SoloEra, a new sub-brand by Blueshark, the country’s leading electric motorcycle brand. Making its global public premiere at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, SoloEra will unveil three all-new electric motorcycle models, namely Solo 1, Solo 2 and Solo 3, from 9 to 15 May at MAEPS, Serdang.
Positioned as a high-value and affordable EV solution, SoloEra aims to make electric two-wheeled mobility more accessible to everyday Malaysians. The brand targets a wider audience by delivering practical, cost-effective alternatives backed by Blueshark’s advanced technology and battery-swapping ecosystem.
Moreover, Blueshark developed SoloEra in response to increasing demand for greener, budget-friendly transportation. Production of SoloEra models will begin in June 2025 at a dedicated assembly facility in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, operated by EPMB. The CKD assembly will ensure local value creation and support Malaysia’s broader industrial development goals.
Visitors to the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 will get an exclusive first look at the SoloEra e-bikes, which feature minimalist, modern designs tailored for urban commuting. While details on specifications will be revealed closer to the official launch in June, the preview promises clean styling, practical features and smart EV systems inherited from Blueshark’s existing range.
On top of that, the launch of SoloEra marks a significant step in promoting wider EV adoption and aligns with the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and Malaysia’s long-term goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions. As e-bikes gain popularity as a cleaner mode of transport, SoloEra is poised to play a key role in the shift toward sustainable personal mobility.
