How much will the Zeekr 9X cost when it launches in Malaysia?
Geely’s premium electric brand, Zeekr, is set to unveil its all-new flagship SUV, the Zeekr 9X, on 9 July 2025, in China. The luxury plug-in hybrid crossover will go on sale in the third quarter of the year, marking a significant step in Zeekr’s evolution since its debut in 2021 with the 001 electric station wagon.

The Zeekr 9X will feature a 5.2-meter-long body and a pure electric range of 380km. Its most advanced variant boasts a high-voltage 900V electrical system and CATL’s Freevoy battery with 6C fast-charging support, enabling a full charge in just 10 minutes.
Moreover, the vehicle combines this cutting-edge battery tech with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 275hp and two powerful electric motors, a 290kW unit up front and 370kW in the rear, for a combined performance of well over 600 kW. The chassis features dual-chamber air suspension, adaptive damping and a 48V active anti-roll bar, with 288mm of ground clearance.

A major innovation is Zeekr’s G-Pilot H9 driver assistance system, powered by five LiDAR sensors, 13 cameras, three mm-wave radars, and two Nvidia Drive Thor chips, offering a computing power of 1,400 TOPS. This L3-ready system aims to deliver cutting-edge autonomous driving capabilities.
On top of that, design-wise, the Zeekr 9X shares styling cues with the Zeekr 009 MPV, featuring a bold chrome grille, 22-inch wheels, full-width LED taillights, and a distinctive SUV silhouette. Inside, the cabin is anchored by a 30-inch 6K central screen and a steering wheel-mounted gear selector.

Two seating layouts will be offered: a six-seat standard model and a premium four-seat Grand edition. Originally previewed at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, the production-ready Zeekr 9X will be publicly revealed at a tech showcase event on 9 July. Zeekr has released official photos in white, following earlier teasers of a black model.
Zeekr recently hit a milestone with 500,000 vehicles produced in China. The 9X is poised to be its most advanced model yet. Pricing is expected to range between 500,000 and 1,000,000 yuan (approximately USD69,600 to USD139,300). So how much would this SUV cost here in Malaysia when it launches in the country?
