Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia To Become Brand’s Sole Importer And Dealer

The company will continue to invest in training and digitalisation and bring in more new models

The Jaguar and Land Rover dealership at Sime Darby Motors City in Ara Damansara, which is currently the largest JLR 4S facility in South East Asia, is set to become the sole JLR dealership in the Klang Valley.

This is following Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia‘s (JLRM) announcement to consolidate its retail business operations and acquire dealer assets and staff from both Sime Darby Auto Connexion and SISMA Auto. Back in March, we reported that the latter might retire its JLR business in Malaysia after 26 years.

Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia says the move will help the company optimise its retail and distribution costs and ultimately put them in a stronger position to serve the customers.

In addition, JLRM will continue to invest heavily in training in order to increase the number of certified technicians, as well as sales and service advisors. The company will also increase its digitalisation efforts to improve its service capacity to deliver top-notch services to its customers.
